A shaped Board.

I've finally finished cutting my new board out I hate having projects hanging over my head. This new board was all cut by hand and sanded, I am a little bit in love with it now... all i have left to go is just to pimp it out, like the other ones I have been working on and a few old boards . Nearly all the outfits in my recent posts have been of me wearing my stripy top, apologies i just love it. Now to get painting and drawing on this board. So it ready for when i re-arrange my room. Have you been working on any creative projects recently?

Today has been another busy one, would you believe RubyRaeLove received 108 orders between 7am - 4pm i am pretty shocked lots of packing and sorting. I do love making my business cards and making all the packaging pretty, to arty for my own good, i could spend millions on stationary. Thank you for your support.

I had a lovely morning spent shopping with my brothers. I didn't buy a lot, a few trinkets and a new pair of skinny black jeans. I am going for afternoon tea at harrods tomorrow ( i know what you are thinking she better brush her hair ha!) so i was on the hunt for the perfect top to go with my skinny jeans... but could i find anything no! I did find a lovely dress/top thing in (or as my brother called it a boob tube... basically a strapless dress) New Look which was marked at £5 but the sales assistant blindly refused to sell it to me at that price demanding it must of been price wrong, then accused me of switching tags....so i told her to leave it, it was lovely...unfortunately she wasn't . So i spent the rest of the evening trying to find something remotely posh & comfortable in my wardrobe I am yet to find the perfect combination. In the ensuing boredom of sorting my wardrobe out i decided to snap an outfit post of what i wore today, pretty simple and comfy. I just love this Faux leather jacket i picked up in H&M the other day for £29.99, it was a replacement for my beloved faux leather primark jacket which i had for about six years.

I have been thinking about getting the ole' hair chopped, i really want it short at the back and long at the front, kind of a long victoria beckham bob, alot longer though, i am terrified of the hairdressers so we will see.

*( I am not normally horrible about people that work in shops i use to work in retail, i know how horrible customers can be, the lady accused me of switching tags so i could get it cheaper how rude?!)

A Busy week and a million orders to package makes for a very tiring Friday night. I am currently watching russian figure skating like you do...I have been living in all my comfy clothes this week, i have had a crazy painful throat infection this week that has had me coughing like crazy all night and now my ridiculously wisdom teeth have decided to appear so i am currently sat in my wonderful wooly poncho drinking warm honey and ginger... i am taking comfort to the max!

Anyway I just wanted to pop up and say hi to all you wonderful readers, this week has been pretty heavy and working full-time blogging, running two business is taking its toll ...I hate to moan i really do i am grateful to you all but i really need to start organizing my time far more affectively. I am currently using 3 diaries to write all my to-do lists in.

Do you have any tips for creating better organizational skills? would be wonderful to know how other people organize their time?

I am kind of obsessed with this top i bought from H&M the other day, it has inspired my new collection for RubyRaeLove, I have tons of turquoise everywhere, its such a beautiful stone.

I took these photos yesterday after i settled down to make a few things after work. Trust me, to miss place all the things i need to make my new necklaces. I am so forgetful, I have a never ending amount of lists to just help me remember simple things.

I really love just settling down with some chill out music and get making, this week my playlist is, Friendly fires, James Vincent McMorrow they have really got my through the week.

I am really trying to get organized for this summer, i am trying to get RubyRaelove sorted for a few festivals this summer, it would be wonderful to just be a nomad for a few months, pack everything up into the back of van (my future campervan) and head off.

So its thursday already my oh my where are the days going? So this was my outfit for work on wednesday. Spot my new leather jacket from H&M i have been after a new one for the last 2 years since my trust primark faux leather jacket decided that i needed to extra holes under both arms. Don't you just love finding something you have been looking for in a while.

I received these wonderful Turquoise skull beads yesterday they are massive and beautiful these will be available this weekend on long silver chains.

Thank you for all the supportive comments from my Monday post about stress and anxiety and getting help on it. I am currently reading "Overcoming Anxiety" by Helen Kennerly, I have only just started reading it but already i feel able to process a few things a bit more easier. I had a few emails from people asking me if self-help books were helpful, for me they work, i like to be able to read information over and over again ( i am very forgetful) so it is a great help to be able to high-light and make notes, its easier for me to process. So they personally work for me you could always pop to your local library and hire a book so you don't have to pay and if it doesn't work for you then its free.

So after a stressful day at work and a stressful weekend i am finding solace and happiness in the small things, like watching my surf dvds, painting my new skateboard design and hanging out with my younger brother. So when i got in from work i decided to dress in something a little bit more summery, it was absolutely freezing outside but inside the heating was on, i was trying to rock the up do and drawing crystals. I am hoping to get a little zine together, to go in the shop so fingers cross i can get this little project completed(i am absolutely awful at starting projects, sketchbooks and work without completing it) I'm working on a few new skateboard designs for a friends collection, the photos above are of a few old designs I did in 2009 i think. I don't think I have spoken much on my blog about my passion for detailed graphic/drawings I do as a little bit of a side project, so I thought i would introduce you all to one of my guilty pleasures...i am obsessed with drawing mexican skulls on wood, there are worst and i am sure weirder obsessions.

It was actually blue monday today and i think i was really feeling it, my stress levels are really being tested at the moment (not at work i love work) just how i am processing things at the moment. I think to move on with a few things I want.

I am actually seeking help with my nerves and stress which makes a change for me, i normally just fight through...thinking that there is nothing wrong and i am ok, but I have finally decided to be able gain more confidence within myself i need to do this for me. Oh and with a few self help books, i am getting there. I think in my head I am limiting myself when there is so much out there for me yet to achieve I talk myself out of it constantly so I really need to push myself..so here is to a new more productive, happy and less stressed me.

My day has been a busy one, as i only get saturday and sunday off i have to fit what i use to do in a week into two days. So I have been making new pieces all day and uploading them to the shop. I do feel sometimes like a bit like a workaholic, sometimes I find it so hard to switch off. I have bought myself some lovely candles, and i am re-vamping my room so it will be easier for me to sleep as I have been lacking in that department for a while.

Me and mum are going on a hunt for a mass load of moccasins tomorrow to get making my Navajo pattern Moccasins, since i posted this picture onto Tumblr i have had a massive response, in the last week I have had over 700 emails asking if these will be in my shop and where people can get them from, so I have given into the demand and i hopefully will be able to buy up a few pairs of Moccasins and get sewing, I just wanted to ask people what they think the average shoe size is? (female) i am thinking of having size 3-7 on sale would this cover your shoes size?

Jewellery : week 2

This week i have been keeping it simple on the jewellery front. I wore my new favorite ring from a wonderful Etsy seller Ramsi, I have actually just ordered another 2 for myself and a gold ring for my sister's 25th birthday they are beautifully light weight and delicate. Such a contrast to last weeks rings.

I don't even realise i am wearing it most of the time.

I do love contrasting delicate rings with more edgy rings, i am loving this one i have i the shop at the moment.

So much to fit into today its actually crazy, my parents get back from Wales today, and the house is a complete tip. I wouldn't make a good housewife, i know that for a fact.

I have been tempting my poor pale skin with the thought of a little summer trip to Bali, I haven't left the country since i was in Year 12 which was about a million years ago, so i think a trip out of good 'ol blighty is on the cards, just the thought of getting a tan fills me with excitement. I haven't been surfing in years so this could be an exciting experience, anyway its not booked yet or set in stone, (to the word of the beach boys) but wouldn't it be nice?

Anyway i digress, thank you all for the kind words about the new RubyRaeLove branding, i find my best ideas appear when i am really not thinking at all; they kind of flow out of me and onto the paper, i was far to busy watching pineapple express to pay attention to what my hand was drawing on the paper. I thinking that is something i need to develop more, i also need to free up my mind and spend less time on the internet. I find it can be quite harmful to my creativity, i get so overwhelmed sometime, consumed by question my ability to be creative, seeing what other people are doing can be beneficial but sometimes i find that i loose my originality. I think originality is the foundation to success, i really do.

You might be wondering what is going on with my Velvet Feather shop...its not going anywhere, i just felt that i was loosing my creative flair with it and i know RRL is right now where my heart is at. I have ordered up a new stamp for RRL and i am getting a lookbook sorted, never ever done one of these before, totally intimidated by the thought but i am going to face it head on.

This is a little quote i found that seemed to fit with my 2012 :

I have spent the last few evening working on my branding for RubyRaeLove, this is one of my favorite things about owning my own business. Above is the new banding style for RRL, its all hand-drawn by me, I wanted to create a more hand-made feel to the shop. I absolutely love nice packaging so thats the next step, I will be purchasing new stamps for business cards, i love stationary.

P.s. I am working on my younger brother business, he makes hand-made accessories out of leather so watch this space.

The first week back at work, was really hectic so its been nice to find the time to put my feet up when i get in. I have been spending all day surrounded by children and loud noise its nice to get a little time to my self, so i have been sorting RubyRaeLove out, its going great. But also....

I have been eyeing these lovely moccasins from Minnitonka for a while now, but i always worry about buying shoes online. So I ordered the material ( authentic woven latin american tribal cloth) with the idea in mind to add it to the front of my moccasins. The other day when walking home from work i got the shoes caked in mud, so it was perfect timing when i got the material through to jazz them up. It only took me an hour last night from start to finish, i wore them to work today and they made me smile every time i looked at them.

I love the pattern on the front reminds me of a pair I had as a child, i think i might make my next pair in a more neutral colour.

Jewellery : week 1

One of my new years resolutions was to wear more rings/jewellery, i wanted to track what i decided to combine through my blog. Here are the combinations i have been wearing all week, Lots of blue and silver tones. I want to document the jewellery i wear throughout the coming weeks slightly like a scrapbook. Believe it or not I had a little phobia of rings when i was a child, yes apparently that is possible i believe it is called kosmimaphobia but don't worry it seems to have worn off.

These colours remind me of the sea, the little wave ring is the only gift i got of my grandmother, so it is something special i only wear it when i am in the house, it was hand-made by a old jeweler in wales.

The skull ring is actually the ring i made my mold out of for my hand-made silver skull, this one is just a base metal and often turns my finger green but i love it all the same.

When i get more creative i wear more rings, i sometimes wish i had more fingers just so i can wear all my rings, i think i have about 400 silver rings and a few gold.

resolutions....kind of

So we are well and truly into 2012, i can't believe i am actually going to be 24, yes 24...this slightly terrifies me when i think about all the things i am yet to accomplish. But at the same time the ability to actually do these things makes my fear of growing older subside.

I am kind of at a point were I have so many things i want to do that I am not entirely sure if I can do them all. I never ever really set my self resolutions because i know full well i wont do them. So i think i am casually going to step into this new year with my heart set on a few things and genuinely work towards those And anyway my sister keeps reminding its the end of the world in December (very morbid i don't actually believe it is) but i look at it this way if it is true i want to cram everything into the net 12 months, and if it isn't then i will have done all those things.

Here is what i want to achieve this year :

Enroll on a silver smiting course

Go traveling for a while in the summer.

Work harder than what i have been (simple statement but i need to)

wear more rings

Set a shop up (be it a traveling one or a bricks and mortar shop something small)

Learn to calm my anxieties down, take things one step at a time and approach things with a smile on my face with a little more positivity.

Be more organized in business and life.

Listen to more music.

I was going to put up there be healthier but i want that to be a gradual thing, that I will try and not force. Oh and Lisa has reminded me that i need to drink more green tea! from my green camper van mug my brother got my for christmas, i ask him as a joke to buy me a camper van for christmas and he said it was all he could afford he is the sweetest thing.

New years eve

I decided this year that i would spend my new years day and eve with some of my favorite people, my old friends from Uni, we thought it would be a good idea to see the old year out down by the Thames watching the firework display. Oh my was it busy, the fire works were amazing but we did stand up waiting to see them for 4 hours, it was pretty mental.

The fire works were really beautiful and it made the journey back worth while 2 hours to get home! nearly getting crushed to death by a police horse though was not on my to-do list of 2012. It was really great to catch up with old friends, my 2012 do-list is pilling up nicely, i have new adventures a head of me which i hope to embrace with open arms...wish me luck.

This will be my last post of 2011, it has been a very odd year. I started it in a long distance relationship and i end it a lot happier than it began. The support via this blog this year has been a great source of positivity for me to build upon. I have found great confidence and comfort so thank you. I was going to do a long re-cap post, but i just wanted to share with you a few photos from 2011. There are lots of thing i managed to achieve and a few things i hadn't. It feels like I have been away for awhile properly from here i have been working really hard setting RubyRaeLove back up again, i decided to open the shop again at 3 am the other morning, i missed it to much and i wanted to share with you new creations. So here you have the new Look RubyRae. The time away has given me the opportunity to make some really lovely things. So I hope you all like it, I have decided to give a 10% discount on every order until the 2nd january.

New hand-made silver Pendants.

So this is a little pendant, that me and my dad made from melted down silver. I moulded it from an original skull bead, into a resin clay. I melted the metal in a little crucible over a fire outside and poured it in the mold and voila! I really wouldn't of been able to do it without my dad who use to be a scientist and metal worker. I am so pleased with it, as I thought it would never work. Believe me the fire was ridiculously hot and i hate things that are hot, i always manage to burn myself, the process was really fun and exciting. I am still working on making the rings neater and a bit more professional...This one pendant took me an entire day to sand and clean.

These won't be on sale in Velvet Feather....but they will be on sale in RubyRaelove, i know i know i deleted it the other day but the other night i was wide awake at 3 am and i kind of missed that little shop, I decided to re-open it. I promise to get back to my old making and creating style. As we speak I am surrounded by turquoise beads, cut leather and silver. So watch this space.

Do you ever just get lost sometimes?

I miss places now and again places that once filled me with inspiration places were dreams are made and lived out, it dawned on me the other day that i hadn't seen the sea for months. I don't look at things like i use to. Places and things cover my view, were long paths once stretched before me, pot holes have formed ivy has grown over windows and balconies obscuring the view. I feel like i use to wander with my eyes open, i saw where i was going and who i wanted to be, but right now and for a short while i've felt a little lost fragmented between my hopes and fears.

Where is my heart? when did i leave you behind and decide that my head was the best tool for the job, how could i forget that my heart and hands are who i am. Forget all you have seen, let your hands guide you. I haven't seen the sky for a while now an expanse.

That path you once took between that beach and that field where adventured lay in every blade of grass, the sound of those waves crashing, that was you, the warm tarmac under your feet, that feeling you only know, it was brief, in that one moment thats where you lie. Without fear.....that space between.

A sense of failure, loss of time constantly plague my mind, late evenings, pages of journals, thousands of photos and long conversations in my head. Do not quench my thirst, constant, always moving, unable sometimes to see into the distance. I have had the same conversation with myself for months, the same nagging thought, the same thing i always knew....

A constant longing like hunting for treasure or the lure of the sea, i have denied myself who i am, blinded by other peoples actions, i think i have remembered where the path was and where it was leading. I must remember to follow my feet.

I have naughtily bought a silver smiting kit, even though it was christmas yesterday and i received some lovely presents. I wanted to buy myself something practical to work towards Velvet Feather. Me and my dad have literally just finished melting some of my old silver (it was messy and we did it with a blow torch outside the house) very rustic and home-made... we have made a little skull ring, i am pretty chuffed with it, it was set in a hand-made mould. So hopefully with my new kit i will be able to experiment more.....yay for dad being a scientist/paviour and being able to help me with this new step with my shop. I wanted to share with you one of my favourite designers you have probably all heard of her and if you haven't you really should of Pamela Love is one of my favorite makers/designers her work is really beautiful. I love hearing about her making process and what she wears. Have a little watch.

The day before christmas

On christmas Eve i was like a headless chicken trying to make sure everyones presents were brought and wrapped. I made most of the presents this year but there was one present i couldn't make, which was a tin of Ben's cookies they are his favorite things. So me and conor headed up town to get a few bits and pieces for christmas, I took a few pictures while we were there.

My chest infection is getting slowly better, still on antibiotics but i feel alot better. I think filing my face yesterday with lots of lovely food really helped.

A little gift...

This year from my parents i received one present, I didn't make a wish list, i didn't tell them what i wanted or even spoke about presents to my parents. My mum and dad bought me this really beautiful Antique, opal and ruby ring, the pictures are a little blurred (too many ciders) but it really was one of the nicest present I have ever received. I wasn't expecting any this beautiful. I hope you all had a lovely christmasy day filled with too much food, too much drink and lots of fun times.

Today has been rather packed for me, the plain tote bags arrived in the post at 3 pm and straight away I got printing. But this is a sneak peak into my day. I also got some lovely packages in the post One from Anna, it is probably the nicest thing anyone has sent me in the post, i was rather chuffed thank you sweet. So i have been indoors all day, making, printing, wrapping presents, emailing people, the bottom photo is a sneak peak at the new totes that will be available on velvet Feather, there are already Prints available, all money made will be going towards my mobile shop, I have already sold 12 prints i will be doing a limited run so grab them whilst you can.

How to screen print at home.

So after a few request from my readers and a friend on facebook, here is how i use my screen print kit at home. First off there is no exposing the screen, which would be alot quicker but i can't afford that type of equipment right now. So i bought this system 3 Acrylic screen print and i often buy extra screens off ebay.

this is what comes in the kit,

1 Screen

Acrylic Printing medium

textile Medium

5 acrylic paints

Screen blocker

A squeegee

screen drawing fluid
Apron
How to book

You can buy all these separately but as this was on sale & my first time printing at home i wanted to get the kit so i could follow instructions and get it right. I have screen-printed before, I did it whilst on my Fine Art degree at Falmouth you can see the work here and here oh and by no means am I an expert.

So heres the process i go through when screen printing.

I make sure the screen is clean and ready for the screen drawing fluid to be added to the screen. Also make sure there are no holes in the screen.

Please wear an apron, it might get messy.

Now you will need to add the image to the screen this is pretty simple take the drawing fluid, start drawing directly onto the mesh. The best images to use are simple bold images, mines a little detailed but I've use this process before its really a trial and error. If you do get the kit that I have, it tells you to water down the fluid...Don't! I did this before and it ruined a screen that i spent two days on, because it was too fine you need it to be thick, be confident with application.

Once you have drawn out your image remember what ever you paint blue will be washed off later and it will be the image you will print. This process can take a while but i love doing it all by hand, this will take about 30 minutes to dry.

Once this has dried you will need to take the Removable Screen Block, i don't actually have a picture of me doing this as it can be very messy, Take a stiff piece of card and spread it across the entirety of the screen.

Now you have to leave the Screen block to dry, depending on the fineness of the mesh this may take 30 minutes to 3 hours. I leave mine in a warm room, DO NOT use a hair dryer yo speed up the drying process this could ruin the screen.
NOW TO WASH OFF THE DRAWING FLUID.

Once your screen block has dried you will need to wash off the drawing fluid that is your image, I do mine in the bath, just use cold water NOT hot because this will get rid of the screen block, also DON'T use any shampoos or soap on the image to wash it, because this also removes the screen block.

Your screen should look like this. The screen block will block out the ink when you go to print it.

Now time for the fun bit.

Now depending if you are printing on fabric or paper use the specific medium as i am printing on fabric i used the textile medium, take what ever colour you have chosen (paint) put a good dollop on a mixing pallet then put the same amount of medium in as well so 50% paint 50% medium mix together
The paint will just be a normal acrylic paint you add the medium so the paint doesn't dry quickly.

Normally you would lay the line of ink along the top and go downwards, but my squeegee doesn't fit that way so i am going right to left. Put a substantial amount on the screen i use a cotton but for this.
I your not sure just follow the image bellow.

You are now ready to print (remember if you are printing on fabric put some paper under the fabric) take your squeegee and flood the image, this mean cover the image with the ink, do it in one motion you can do this slowly if you want. Once you have flooded the image, i normally run the squeegee across 3-4 times.

I normally double check to see if the ink has covered the entire image. You don't have to use all the ink on the screen. Now slowly take the screen off. You can re-use the ink left on the sides for your next print. You will have to iron the image once its dry to set the image so its ok to wash.

And there you go its pretty simple, but please remember to wash your screen (with cold water) so not to clog up your image so you can re-use it over and over again.

New shoes.

As you can probably tell i am a little bit in love with my new Van shoes, a little sneak peek of my new dress from missguided which is the first item of clothing i have bought online, i am really chuffed with it, i'm sure it will appear properly in a post soon.

Anyway i printed the Bearded man Illustration from my last post it has been quite successful, i need to tweak it a little but it should be available to buy soon.

You can see the mark on my right trouser leg where i fell over when i was in camden ha! I have taken to wearing trousers again after my lack of confidence in this post, Wearing my van shoes takes me back to being about 14 skate -boarding with my brothers and friends down the park, i was a right little tom-boy, since finishing work for christmas all i have worn is t-shirt and trousers which makes a difference for the last two years all i have worn is leggings/tights and dresses. I feel strangely free.

Strange post i know but i just wanted to share with you my new found confidence in wearing trousers again...silly really hehe..

Screen-printing

After a horrible trip to the doctors, due to the fact I somehow have developed a chest infection.. cue antibiotics, i have to stay indoors or i might have an asthma attack yay! So i am making the most of the warmth and doing a little bit of screen printing. I love the fact that i never really get bored and my parents let me make a mess (thank you)

I have decided to create a limited edition run of Tattooed bearded man illustration, these will be printed onto t-shirts, tote bags and will be made into a print with watercolour detail. The money made from these sales will be going towards my Velvet feather shop fund, which is going really well at the moment, over the next few days I will share with you all my progress and how i am getting along with it all. I printed a limited amount of these illustrations for the week make london craft fair two weeks ago and i sold out, so hopefully a few more people will get the opportunity to have one. The bearded tattoo dude is one of my favorite drawings....inspired by my father.

I'm just waiting now for the screen-drawing fluid to dry and then roll on printing.

Out and about in Camden

This is what i wore today hello new outfit/mirror combo, i also wore my new burgundy Jeans from new look which i absolutely love, but i couldn't get those in shot. We had a late start today as my brothers are lazy ha! We decided that the weather was too bad to go christmas shopping in oxford so we opted for somewhere more local Camden. I hadn't been to camden since my 18th birthday, and since then they have changed the stables area around, if i am honest i was pretty disappointed i really preferred it the other way, it had more retro shops. But it was really good to finally see what they had done after 5 years. It Rained a lot today, so it kinda explains the lack of pictures.

I stupidly left the house wearing a jacket with no hood so you can imagine how soaked i was when i got home...silly me.

Anyway we had a great little day out, minus me falling down the stairs inside a vintage shop, because the steps were slippy this was in front of the entire shop...I now have a bruise the size of my hand on my shin! My brother helped me off the floor whilst laughing...to be honest it was funny it kind of happened in slow motion.

I treat my brothers to lunch Camden style, only in england would we sit out side and eat in the rain!? Me and conor had some rather yummy chinese mix and Saul opted for pepperoni pizza. Believe me it was tasty. I have done nearly all my christmas shopping (go me), so i was just on the hunt for a few finds today and i naughtily bought myself some lovely Van shoes, oh dear, i had to go for a size 4 they are a tad bit big but i really wanted them and i figured thick socks all the way. Nothing like buying yourself an early christmas present hey?!

Oh and to let you all know Velvet Feather has been stocked with new Hair bows, lockets and goodies.

I wanted to find new ways of taking some self-portraits and i came across the mirror in the bath room, i really like the way its a little like a fish-eye camera. I really like how they have come out minus my odd face in the last picture.. I look a little like jack black ha!

My sunday will consist of :

shopping and baking cakes. Everyone else i know has got their christmas shopping sorted...not me, i am really organised when it comes to other things but with christmas i can't get my head around present buying. I know i am probably just going to end up buying things for my self out of guilt for not being able to find anything for anyone else...yep thats how my brain works.

My little brother is back from University for the christmas break and i haven't seen him for two months so its great to hang-out with him now.

I find it really hard to get the perfect gift for people I am a little unorganized this year (panic setting in), i still need to do a bit of my christmas shopping and i thought i would share with you a sort of virtual christmas selection of gifts for my family. So here are a few pairs of shoes I have to choose from for my sister? I came across some beautiful shoes over at Nasty Girl. I have picked a few of my favorites, even though they don't stock my size ( i'm a size 2/3\) pretty devastated by this, but my sister has normal size feet. I love the colour and the bows on the Annabella platform shoes, the wedge is lovely. I am not really a shoe kinda girl but i love all the different wedges and style they have on their online shop.

I think at christmas we all love a bit of glitter so i think she would really like the Foxy platforms.

Don't you just love buying yourself a little present, I know its really close to christmas but i really really wanted the Frankie 2011 diary but it was sold out when i actually got around to buying it last year so i snapped it up as soon as i got on the website the other day. I love the illustrations they are just so adorable its far too pretty to draw in but 2012 is proving to be a busy year. The lady i work with has already got her appointments scheduled in for 2012.

We have been making things this week at work with the children that are christmasy so you can imagine the amount of glitter that i find everywhere when i get home. It use to be my favorite time of the year when i was at school so its always great to be able to share that feeling again now that i am a bit older. These photos were taking after work so i am looking a little fried but i wanted to share with you my favorite feel good dress. I had a really horrible dream last night when i woke up and i cried for like an hour after that, when i went to work this morning i was feeling a little down but this dress for some reason always cheers me up, I also wore my orange tights with it, the children at work said i looked like an elf with my shoes and tights... Nothing wrong with that!

Tonight i took the plunge and deleted RubyRaelove my first proper online shop, i had decided that running two online shops had become a bit too much for me i really just want to concentrate on Velvet feather, i know its christmas time and its really not the time to close down a shop and empty the other but after the success of yesterday i just want a fresh start with all things.

I had been wanting to delete the shop for a while but i couldn't bring myself to do it, i sorted all my orders out and then i pressed delete.... see the thing is it didn't really reflect the things i wanted to make anymore its strange how your style can really change over a year (or just under a year).

It has been a really weird year with ups and downs and if it hadn't been for my rubyraelove shop i probably would be in a lot of debt or stuck in my old job, it got me through some tough times and kept me focused on my goals but i feel now with velvet feather it is time to move on. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my customers who had bought a little something from me since march.

So over the next few nights I will be introducing a new look velvet feather store and items, i hope you like them and just so you are first to know the gossip me and a certain someone have been in-discussion about open a real shop by the coast, we have a store in mind just need to go through all the paper work, money, costs etc...i am just torn between real shop and mobile shop?

Yesterday was a crazy busy one, it was the day of the we make london Christmas craft fair. Mum decided she would help me with running the stall which was great beacause she was in-charge of the money i am useless at maths

. After a hectic morning catching lots of trains and walking with tons of stock we made it to battersea. I was sharing my stool with a really lovely lady who made silk underwear, i bought a little present for my sister from her.

I made quite a few sales, so i was really happy about that, the thing i always worry about at craft fair is no-one is going to turn up, it was quite quiet yesterday but i managed to make nearly £250 so a great deal going towards the fund for the mobile shop.

I had a few visits from wonderful bloggers/ fellow stall holders who came up to say hello to me aswell which was really lovely. I love meeting people who read my blog even if i can be a bit shy. One of them was the lovely Elisabeth from Sasha and Elisabeth who were selling some amazing pieces and Elisabeth was wearing a pretty adorable chunky knit jumper.

Today i am just taking it easy, decorating my room making it all festive, baking cakes with my dad and meeting my brothers new girlfriend.

I feel like all i have been doing is getting ready for this craft Fair its pretty crazy and all time consuming, so you can imagine when i get in from work i get straight on making things there really isn't enough hours in the day, don't get me wrong i love being busy and working towards m goal, but i think i am really going to enjoy the christmas break off.

I will also be sharing with you lovelies my recent goals for velvet Feather mobile shop dream, I am steadily getting there with my savings i am yet to find the perfect vehicle though.

I will be stocking wonderful hand-made hair accessories as well in the shop I made my first ever hair bow tonight.

These past two days have gone so quickly and there is only 5 days left until my craft fair ( i am not counting this evening ha) I have spent pretty much the whole weekend making, Printing and packaging up all the bits and pieces for the fair.

It can be hard to run a small business and maintain a full-time job, give me back the days when i use to work 16 hours a week. My studio is a complete mess, and I haven't brushed my hair ha manic times!

But there have been some great moments this weekend we turned our living room into a cinema to watch a christmas carol ( the one with jim carrey in), i ate lots of crumpets, had a family fry up, mum made cheese and onion pie, I ticked my to-do list off and i got my branding just right for Velvet Feather, i got new stamps made, gosh! i love stationary.

Yesterday i took a walk with dad to see a little 1975 Winnebago Brave that his friend was selling its a little bit out of my price range so i am hoping that father christmas will deliver this year?! It is so hard to find the perfect vehicle within my price range...the adventure of the mobile shop continues. And i am desperate to get the shop set up.

There is just another two weeks left at work before i break up for christmas this is truly my favorite time of the year, its when i mainly work the hardest, making things because it is so unwelcoming to go outside, so i have a lot of new things to go in the shop and plus there will be discount on all purchases, i will de doing that sometime next week after the rush of the fair.

I am just looking forward to a rest over christmas and being with my family but until then busy, busy, busy.

I happen to turn into a little Christmas elf freak around this time of the year.

But mostly, I love being with my family and spreading love to others.

I wanted to share one of my favorite Christmas traditions with you.

Every year since I can remember, we have a huge Christmas Eve dinner

with my entire family at my parents house.

We open presents from my dad's side,

and every year my grandma gets us PJs.

When Mike and I got married, we thought it would be fun to have our own

PJ exchange. So on Christmas Eve, we get in our new jammies,

and watch The Christmas Story on PBS all night long.

It happens to be one of my favorite things.

Especially when it ends in a giant family sleepover.

This year, our PJs will be the only thing we are giving to each other.

We've decided to do Christmas for two families

who otherwise wouldn't have it.

I've honestly never been so excited to give gifts in my life like I am this year.

Christmas is so much more meaningful when we remember what it's all about.

And it's about Christ.

And love.

And giving.

Sometimes i wish i looked like Zooey Deschanel more than anything (girl crush eeek), she is rather lovely. I blame it on the fact i have been watching new girl on repeat. When i get in from work i pop it on and it cheers me up sooo much (I kinda love schmidt) and so the other day i decided that i wanted to cut my Bangs more & voila! new hair, i love cutting my own hair, to be honest i did once cut my fringe so short in the summer of '09 i had to walk around for a while with a hat on, and i don't do hats it was a nightmare with ever snip i take of my hair i re-live that moment but i'm a rebel lol

As you can see when i get in from work i also loved to watch the scandal unfold on jeremy kyle, a guilty little secret of mine. I will totally loose some followers after admitting to that!

I am on the mend slightly, I had a bad asthma attack last night, but all is well...thank you for all your get well soon messages.

Today I have been so unwell, i absolutely hate being ill, i had to call in sick for work its the first time i have had a day off work ever!! (since my first job when i was 14)

I spent all day on the sofa wrapped up in a duvet with my favorite pile of pillows and a pile of dvds can i just say i loved Chris O'Dowd in bridesmaids, i always find it funny when i watch a comedy and end up laugh my head off when i am on my own, It really put a smile on my face oh and laughing with the flu is hard and painful so maybe i shouldn't of watched comedies hehe.

I wanted to say thank you for all your positive words on my last post, it is really humbling to hear from everyone & to know that i am not the only woman out there afraid to wear trousers or an item of clothing.

I think today i will be playing christmas tunes, mixed with a bit of kings of leon and Band of horses so it will be a positive music / craft day, after a horrible night (i will post about that later) . I've been trying to sort the look of my stool out but its proving quite hard, and i am really indecisive of what i want it to look like. I am currently working on making my new antique dome look pretty, it is proving pretty tough. I can be so uncreative sometimes ha!

Todays blog post comes to you from the depths of my bedroom as i am trying to get rid of old clothes, clothes i don't wear and clothes that have out grown me. This blog has been a great place for me to gain confidence, also seeing other bloggers wearing wonderful and wacky outfits.

As i was going through my old clothes, which hold a lot of sentimental value( i don't often buy alot of clothes but when i do i actually have to fall in love with that item). I was going through some pieces, and they actually made me quite upset, i don't often share with people problems i have had with my weight or the fact i wont wear trousers outside the house. If i am honest right now is the happiest i have been in a long time with the way i look, it has taken me a good 9 months to gain this confidence back. In 2010 i was so ill with asthma and lung problems that i think i gain around 2 stone, from the sheer fact that i was stressed with uni, home life and the fact that i love chocolate, this came to a massive realization when my ex turned around to me and said (after not seeing me for 4 months) "i think you have got really fat" believe me at that moment in time i have never felt so much hate for 1 person, no one has ever directly said that to me and you know what 2 weeks later that relationship was over but words can scar immensely. I stopped wearing trousers and i only ever wore tights/leggings and dressers because i thought i looked like a whale in trousers. But now i feel its safe to go back to jeans and trousers hehe

I am still a size 12-14 but i am happy, mainly for work i wear dresses and tights but today i thought lets wear trousers and a nice top. Sometimes is the simplest thing that can cheer you up and make you grateful. But one thing i have learnt from the last 9 months...i still love chocolate.

I thought i would do a little Q&A post i get a lot of emails a day asking me about certain things on my blog, so i will email back those of you who have asked me questions but to share with you all a few things.

Why did you start blogging?

To begin with it started off as a free space to share my work with everyone back on 2007, and then after a while i started to share more of my life with my followers, it really evolved from my love of sharing ideas, knowledge and creativity. It now is probably one of my favorite things to do.

What camera do you use?

I use a Nixon D40 its a really lovely camera light and really easy to use. I use 2 lenses 18-55mm & 55- 200mm. I take all my own photos, some of the outfit shots are done using a tri-pod

How do you edit your photos?

I use the toy camera app analogcolour for mac its pretty simple to use, i also edit my pictures in photoshop .

Can i hire you for a commission?

I occasionally take commissions but i am currently a little to busy to deal with all the request, i will soon be able to once again do personal commissions and blog commissions

Is your hair naturally curly?

Well it use to be dead straight but after the hair disaster of 2003 it has been curly ever since ( they cut my long hair very short and its never grown back straight) I don't use any products in it, and sometimes i can go days without brushing it, i wash it about twice a week and only dye it occasionally and i normally cut my own hair.

What is your job?

I am a teaching assistant a secondary school, i also will be helping teach jewellery and fashion illustration lessons at the shipshape studios in northwood run by the wonderful emily and adam.

little antique adventure with mum.

There is nothing I love more than taking a day out of my busy schedule to spend some time with my mum, we decided to venture to essex to do some antique shopping another one of my favorite things to do. It was a rather cold day so i was grateful at any opportunity to stop and drink gallons of tea oh and maybe a slice of chocolate cake or two.

The one thing i was on the hunt for was a victorian taxidermy dome, we ventured into one shop and theirs ranged from £150- £300 (empty) and that was a little bit over my budget of £20, we carried on shopping i was pretty heart broken i was desperate to find and dome and we came to the last shop and there it was the perfect victorian dome for just £15 after calling my dad to make sure we could fit it somewhere at home i snapped it up! Don't worry i will share it with you all once i have cleaned it and made it pretty don't you just love it when you wait for something and the perfect item pops up!

Mum was on the hunt for post cards for dad, i think we searched through over 1000 post cards to find just a few perfect ones, he likes boats so we thought we would get him a few little presents, i bought a few little christmas presents for people. I am rubbish at christmas shopping i get distracted by anything shiny and pretty 2 presents down 4 more to go.

Don't you just love winter warmers? I bought this wonderfully wooly snood from primark the other day, often get given a hand-made scarf from my grandma but this year she hasn't made one so i opted for this lovely mustard colour. It's not really the type of colour i would normally go for but it goes really well with my winter coat (it's burgundy).

I have had a few stressful days at work so far and today was one of them so i am really looking forward to having chinese food tonight to cheer me up.

I popped into see emily and adam at ShipShape Studio it is such a wonderful space and shop, i will be doing a little blog post about the opening night they had last week, plus have a little look at the classes i will be teaching.. Illustration classes, jewellery making classes. I am so excited to be a part of it.

Now to get ordering my chinese food!

It feels like a long time since i last blogged, i wanted to share a few images of the new necklaces i have been making, since i haven't had the internet my production levels have gone mad! No distractions its perfect. I have become alittle bit of obsessed with patterns and shapes mainly inspired by all the winter wooly jumpers i own. The little illustration/watercolour is from a new design for my cards. I absolutely love making christmas cards i absolutely love christmas so you can imagine how much i love this time of year.

I have been spending my last few days dreaming up and planning all the places i will be visiting with my little mobile shop, i am yet to find the perfect vehicle, not to sure if to go for a camper van or caravan i thought i should open that to the floor and see which one you lovelies would prefer?

I spent my weekend antique shopping with my mum we headed to our favourite places, and i picked up a Victorian taxidermy dome for my up and coming craft fair i instantly fell in love with it and getting it home on the train was a bit of a pain, but its now sitting pride of place in my bedroom, i would have shared a photo with you all but alas i am sat in my local library typing this and disappointingly unable to log into my twitter to share my fustration about the lack of internet i promise to be blogging to the normal standard soon.

so right now my laptop hates me, it won't let me save anything which is fun, I have to wait to get paid before i can buy an external hard drive, oh man i wont be able to share any pictures what am i going to do!?

I just wanted to share a few pictures i have taken recently, my to do list is pretty massive, so i am feeling ridiculously overwhelmed. I think i need to learn some breathing exercises...

Bonfire night

There is nothing i love more than a great big bonfire and roasting marshmallows, so you can imagine how excited for tonight i am. I spent the day sorting wood for the bonfire with dad, making painted beads for my new velvet feather collection ready for the christmas rush. I also popped on a harry potter film today, i love watching harry potter in the run up to christmas it feels all magical, rather sad isn't it... you wouldn't think that I'm 23 but i constantly live in the hope that magic exists. The other night when i was out late night shopping i actually bumped into the weasley twins from harry potter after they switched christmas lights on and did a book signing, thats probably as close as i will ever get to living a magical life hehe..

I have re-discovered my love for my winter jumpers i think i have about 35 patterned woolly jumpers, today i am wearing my blue and lilac patterned jumper with sheep jumping over fences perfect for bonfire night. Today feels mega wintery, are you doing anything exciting for bonfire night?

You know what i love more than anything, people watching and seeing what people are wearing. when i headed out the other day i thought i would pap some pictures of what caught my eye. I just love the individuality of what some people wear these are just a few quick pictures i love the red shoes in the second picture.

I actually illustrated a book in my 2nd year of uni about people watching, i just love it a little obsessed looking at fashion blogs has kind of taken over the people watching but from the comfort of my sofa...perfect.

Does anyone else people watch or is it just me being nosey?

I am so so so happy that my first week at work is complete this is how i feel right now

This is my mega happy face. Today has really tested me as a teaching assistant and i pushed through it i am rather proud of myself, this week has been such a confidence boost and all the kind comments about my last post were lovely thank you. Its such a weight off my shoulders to be able to just put that out there and see how others feel.

My brother is back for a few days from university and i haven't seen him for 6 weeks so we are going to have a lovely night. I hope we get a chinese take away.

Times are changing

It has been a rather odd 8 months and can i just tell you how important those few months have been to my heart. Anyone who has been following me for a while would know that i had a pretty rough break up at the start of 2011, my blog has been such a vital part of the process of healing the breaks in my heart. I spent two long years with someone who I basically didn't really know at all, it even feels weird now to think about him and the fact that we were once together, i feel more me now, if that makes any sense?

If you were to tell me in march 2011 that in 8 months time i would still be in london working a full-time job i would of laughed at you, all my plans and paths i had made for myself at the start of the year totally fell through. I think i had forgotten that paths can change and so can people for the good or the bad.

But here I am, i really didn't realise how strong i could be & how little i could care for that person that i once held so dear. A lot of opportunities have popped up and i have let a lot go, but i need to start telling myself that yes i am capable, so i think i am going to make a little pack with myself and my readers to grab every opportunity.

I often find myself asking the question, would i have been happy staying in that relationship 8 months on, and i know now that the answer is a definite no, i feel a sense of not knowing what will happen in the next 8 months exciting, I now know that its ok to be on my own and not to worry about others. The strength of my family is so important and as cheesy as it sounds so is the support from my readers.... so thank you.

I have discovered so many strong and independent woman across the blogging world (and in real life) that i don't feel like a girl holding onto someone else's dreams or demands anymore, i feel finally that i can pave my own path and lay down bricks and cobbles in any direction i want to go. Rather than feeling incapable i feel inspired.

The last few days have been crazy and really overwhelming but in a good way with the new job I have been doing so much including GCSE maths lessons which i am terrible at ha! Also good news i think i am a little bit closer to purchasing my mobile shop, which is filling me with far too much excitement. I think i am settling on a camper rather than a caravan. Me and dad have been doing lots of research into it and i am so close. Its between 2 different vehicles but it just depends on the perfect price.

I wanted to share my list of things i am looking forward to in the next few days :

- my brother coming to visit from Swansea

- Giving my brother a hug ( its been 5 weeks)

These are a few photos that i took when i ventured over to the v&a, it was a really lovely autumnal day in london. I went to the power of making exhibition which was really great to be able to see all the different crafts, my younger brother invited me to see a saddle that friend of his has in the exhibition. If you are into crafts varying from jewellery to surf board shaping then this exhibition is for you i loved it especially the videos they showed of people making things. We also went to harrods & did a little people watching perfect day.

I am feeling rather lost these past few days, pretty much unable to think straight, i start my new job tomorrow and all i can think about is packing a bag and heading off the seaside, but i know that would be irresponsible, and i am not the type of person to run away from anything. I bought the beautiful my heart wanders, i ordered this 2 months ago and & never turned up so i had to go to waterstones to collect it, its a beautiful book my favorite, its not really helping my wanderlust, but it may get me through the next few days. I have been reading (i have read it hundreds of times from when she started her journey) Elizabeth's Brave story over at Delightfully Tacky its so inspiring, i have been searching online for the perfect camper/caravan for next summer its taking a while but i guess thats the fun of it. Also have you read Elizabeth's love story? Its adorable.

hand made Moccasins

I really wanted to share with you these little leather moccasins, well i think they are technically slippers. Whilst baby sitting yesterday me and my brother made these. I made the right one and he made the left, you can tell by the stitching he is a trained saddler so he does this everyday he is a rather neat stitcher me on the other hand i went crazy with the stitching. I love them so much, they are made from recycled leather and unique and a beautiful little thing to make.

Taking the time to focus on drawing can sometimes seem like meditation it is the only time when i don't feel stressed, tiered or worried. To be able to do it most days is a great gift, its nice to be able to stop and appreciate something that you love.

How to....make a dream catcher

This is quite an easy make, and you want really need a lot. So to start with all you will need :
long length of thread or friendship bracelet thread,
a few beads,
thick wire (or a thin metal bangle)
a pair of scissors.

So to begin with you will need to turn the wire into a round shape, so you get both ends and twist them around each other until they are secure.

Now once you have made the loop, you need to get your thread ready, I decided to use blue so that people would be able to see the steps better.

So you will need to take the end of the thread and not it to the wire. And begin to wrap the thread around the loop.

So once you have wrapped the entire loop you will need to start on the center of the dream catcher make sure you have enough thread to cover the middle.

So take the thread and cross it a cross the loop and knot it when you get to the next side.

Carry on doing this .

Now this is when you get to add the beads to the dream catcher, thread on what colours you want, i added a red, white and yellow beads. If you find it hard to thread the bead you can use a needle.

Now to get the spider web style on the inside, take the thread and loop it around another thread wrap it and then knot it. follow the images below. Carrying on doing this until you are happy with the look of it.

To tie the dream catcher off just knot the thread around tight, and to create a loop at the top make a large loop shape with the remaining thread now knot the bottom of the loop like you would knot a ballon.

And there you go, i decided to bleach out the blue it was too vivid for me, so it is now a nice whitey blue colour now, i hope that you will be able to create a pretty little Dream catcher.

I thought i would share a few more photos from my trip to falmouth. Me and best friend kelly are pretty much obsessed with hot drinks, so every place we visited we got either a hot chocolate, latte or tea its a great wait to spend some time, sitting in a little cafe people watching.

Forgive my little dumpy fingers i wanted share with you some of my favorite turquoise rings.

I still can't really believe i spent 3 years living in falmouth, it feels like a dream a quick but wonderful dream, that filled me up with creative inspiration, so since coming back i have made a few plans to evolve my jewellery collection over at Velvet Feather to incorporate more recycled pieces, i have been given sheets of silver and copper so i will be making some wonderful hand-made pieces which is exciting me just writing about it.

Columbia Road

I have just got back from columbia road in the east end of london, it is one of my favorite places to go on a sunday. Me and dad ventured down there about 7am, dads got a few friends that run the flower stalls down there, so its always great to head over and see a few faces. Today i bought a bunch of country cottage flowers to put in my new studio space. Its great having a mum who is a florist she makes the best flower arrangements for the house. I ate lots of cupcakes (left over from yesterday) and drank lots of tea so far its been a lovely sunday, Mums just about to make a roast and i am in charge of the gravy...best job if you ask me.

We had such a great saturday we ate so much! But first me and dad spent a few hours together down the library (i know what you are thinking he's at the library on his birthday bet we had a few errands to run) then we all got together and ventured out to the countryside to a few little pubs for a spot of tea. It was crisp and sunny perfect conditions. My favorite weather, reminds me of the years before i went to uni, we use to venture to the little antique shops in the countryside...anyway i ramble too much.

My sister during the day had popped to costco and picked up this epic frosted cake, and oh my it was the sweetest cake ever, i could only handle one piece.

I don't think i have ever seen my dad so content as i did today with his family around him, hitting 50 is a massive deal to him, he lost both his brothers when they were both 49 so making it to 50 to my dad is something he never thought would happen (morbid i know but thats life), i love him more than words could ever describe.

I have wanted to make myself a dream catcher for a while now, and after eating too much birthday cake (totally nursing a food baby) i took the opportunity to make a little Dream catcher.

So since i got back from falmouth, i have wanted to get back into the swing of being creative. So as soon as i got back i wanted to turn my room into a studio. So i cleared everything out, threw alot of rubbish out and started a fresh so here is my new work space. My family home is pretty small there are 6/7 of us living in 3 rooms so any space i can call my own is really a luxury so i am really proud and grateful to have a little creative bubble to work in.

Does anyone else have a studio space in their house would love to see some pictures

These are just a few pictures of my little trip down to falmouth, i have a few more to share with you. It was lovely and sunny. I love falmouth so much, i've missed the people and being by the sea. It was a really wonderful trip i got to spend a few days with my favorite people what more could you ask.

I bought some beautiful shoes and ate too much food and drunk a few too many pints hehe

So as we speak i will be in Falmouth in cornwall, it is like my second home. I went to University there and it is my favorite place to visit. I assure you I will snapping a few pictures whilst i am there to share with you. I thought i would share with you my bag of goodies i will be taking with me, my 2 favourite dresses cat print and the birdie print. I will have to travel light, because we are staying at my friend mannie's house so there wont be a lot of space plus i will be carrying a bright green sleeping bag, not a fan of over-loading the luggage. I am taking a variety of jewellery all from my shop Velvet Feather. It looks like I am going to be just wearing black...good old comfort clothes. Extra camera lens to take lots of beautiful pictures, my trusty new look shoes,my vintage purse and my sketchbook.

I am looking forward to drinking Ginger Beer with my best buddy, going to the beach, checking out the charity shops and just being amongst people and a place that has shaped me for the last four Years, if you have never been you really should go. See you all when i get back.

Sketches from Degas exhibition at the royal Academy

The other day mum treat me to a little trip to the Royal Academy to see Degas new exhibition. I have always loved his paintings of Parisian Ballerina's i don't think there is another artist out there that could and can capture movement and light in a painting like Degas could. If you have never heard of him or think art and painting aren't for you, seriously degas' work is beautiful, delicate and truly awe-inspiring. Me and mum spent three and half hours in the exhibition just staring at the paintings. If you dont like paintings there was a mixture of sculpture and his photography which was beautiful.

Above are some of the sketches i did of the paintings hanging in the exhibition, you couldn't take photos so i opted for the next best thing...drawing the paintings. So i took my trusty moleskin along and some watercolours and sketched away here is what i created

Frustration got the better of me today so i decided the best thing to do, would be to do something different, so i printed some tote bags, they are drying out as we speak. Yay for hand-made bags.

I have spent most of yesterday and today finishing off 2 illustrations, they are frustrating me, you know when you have a finished product in your head and its not getting there it can be the most annoying thing ever. Well the above image is one of the annoying illustrations i am happy with the skirt but the ladies head isn't going to plan.

I have a rather exciting little project in the pipe line, I don't want to say too much about it but it includes my illustrations and jewellery two of my favorite things which i am really excited about.

I decided to wear one of my new dresses, this one is from Primark and it is covered in birds i love this dress is was a tad pricey at £17 but it fits perfectly and its cute so the cutest of the dress over-rode the price. Naughty.

I love love love this dress, i bought it yesterday from Mela loves london, it was £30 but i got it for £15 which is a lot of money (for me) to spend on a dress but i am stocking up for my new job as a teaching assistant, i bought a lot of things yesterday including my ticket to falmouth for next week excited. Anyway....

I love how this dress has quite good structure on the shoulders so it sits really well, it is my new favorite dress. Even though i am working from home today, i like making the effort to dress up and look pretty even though there is no-one here, I also Painted my nails gold and painted a little cat on my thumb nail. Now to watch the fades and draw pretty pictures...

Isn't it just wonderful when your readers share with you creations they have made from being inspired by a post you have created. I recently received a few emails from my readers after i posted this little video about how i create my illustrated outfit posts.

Received a little email from Sammy from the cookie button, attached to it was a beautiful outfit post illustration, isn't it adorable i thought i would share it with you all. I love seeing creativity spread between bloggers. Thank you Sammy

And then i received a tweet from Samantha from Polka dots and dreams with a little picture attached, i love the orange trousers that she has drawn thank you samantha, its great to see people being creative and sharing it so other people feel inspired.
